The Land of Smiles…
Thailand, often referred to as the “Land of Smiles”, is a country of great beauty, history, tradition, and commerce. Thailand is known for it’s large temples, beautiful beaches, and amazing food. The Thai way of life is “Sabai Sabai,” meaning, “just take it easy.”
Where People Live in Darkness…
A spiritual darkness has overshadowed Thailand for centuries, with the Buddhist religion at the center of all aspects of life.
-70 million in population
-Bangkok is the capitol city
-90% of Thai’s are Buddhists
-8% of Thai’s are Muslims
-Less than 1% of Thai’s are evangelical Christians
And There’s an Open Door for the Gospel.
This is a great time of opportunity for the Gospel to be shared in Thailand! The younger generation have begun to question their Buddhist faith and traditions. God is opening doors for the gospel to be spread in amazing ways! We look forward to working with young people in Thailand by:
-Holding Outreaches in Local Schools
-Teaching English Classes
-Organizing Children’s and Youth Ministries
-Discipling Converts
-Training Nationals to serve in ministry and plant indigenous churches
